Who is Alcomoto?

 Hi, thanks for visiting my website, my name is Alex and I' am the founder of Alcomoto! 

If your wondering how I came up with the name, it originates from the first 2 letters of my first and surname followed by moto! 

Since leaving college in 2012, I've been trained by main dealers, first with Suzuki/Renault and then moving on to VW where I spent a total of 6 years there. I started with no brand qualifications and became an established diagnostic technician, specialising in several areas. 

I then decided to move away from VW as I wanted to better myself & my career by challenging myself in a well established multi-franchise chain. Each day was different, never the same cars with the same problems which kept me busy, constantly learning and researching different fault systems. I always had one goal in mind: to achieve master tech status before 30 years of age. I graduated at 28 and then continued to push on dealing with diagnostics and wiring faults daily, now recognised as an IMI accredited Master Technician. 

I had two years experience of running a independent garage and I then decided the time was right to offer my services alone, using all the positives I've learnt in my career to help give a bespoke experience to my customers.  

I spent a total of 12 months sharing a unit finding my feet and establishing myself. In this time Alcomoto exploded into a very busy and sought after service assisting and finding solutions to any vehicle maintenance or fault finding issue. 

It became apparant quickly I needed to give my customers more so on March 31st 2023 Alcomoto bought out an established garage in waterlooville where we now offer a complete in house solution with 4 ramps, an on site MOT station and a comfy reception for you all to relax in! Alcomoto cannot thank every single customer enough for supporting us on this journey, we are constantly looking at reinvestment to give you the professional and enjoyable experience you deserve.

- IMI Accredited Master Technician level 3

 - IMI Accredited Hybrid & High Voltage level 3 

- Over 6 years experience @ VW main dealer 

- Over 6 years experience @ multi-franchise

- MOT testing level 2 in classes 4 & 7 award
